This is the last machine of brick and roofing tile production to shape the raw material as a product. The machine is composed of two main parts, the mixer and the extruder. The upper part (mixer) allows you to mix the clay one last time, to make any additional water and/or stream, then to transfer the clay to the vacuum chamber. This perfectly sealed empty chamber, located between the two parts of the machine, allows removing the air in the material; good de-aeration of the clay to ensure the quality of the end product. After passage through the vacuum chamber, the material enters the lower part (extruder). This machine allows sending the raw material by helixes, putting pressure in the extrusion part and propels the clay through a die (also called “mould”) that has the section of the end product. These two machines, extruder and mixer, can be mounted in line or perpendicular, depending on the configuration of the plant. The gears of the transmission are cut special and heat treated on the surface, which gives them excellent longevity. Welded mechanic construction and machine assembly is extremely robust. All lubrication is provided by pump oil system with filtering and cooling unit. The cooling is achieved by a radiator; filtration by the passage in a crossover, eliminating impurities. There is a permanent control of oil pressure. The material conforms to international safety standards.
